We are Ellen and Ronald Kuyper, and we live in the Netherlands. We are the owners of the house. A few years ago, we built a B&B in our garden in the Netherlands, which we use for guests, but we also regularly host family and friends. Our vision is to see our home in the Netherlands as a place of healing and restoration for ourselves and for everyone we may welcome. At some point during this period, the desire grew within us to create a place for healing and (spiritual) restoration for people who, in one way or another, have been wounded by life or are in need of a time of rest. These could be people working on the frontlines, such as missionaries, pastors and of course, other spiritual brothers and sisters. In 2021, this idea further developed in our minds, and we decided to buy a house in southern Spain, a place we’ve personally enjoyed visiting for many years. The house is located in the triangle between Cordoba, Granada, and Jaén, about a 2-hour drive from Malaga. We have renovated and furnished this house, and since 2022, it has been run by a different couple of caretakers every 6 months.
